Download the .zip
Click the purple Download button above. Save voicetype-extension.zip to your Downloads folder.

Unzip the file
Double-click the .zip on Mac, or right-click → Extract All on Windows. You'll get a folder named voicetype-extension.

Open the extensions page
In Chrome (or Edge, Brave, Arc, Opera), paste chrome://extensions into the address bar and press Enter.

Turn on Developer mode
Flip the toggle in the top-right corner of the extensions page.

Load unpacked
Click the Load unpacked button (top-left), then select the unzipped voicetype-extension folder.

Allow the microphone (one time)
Click into any text field, tap the floating mic, then click Allow microphone on the tab that opens. Done — works on every site after that, including Google Docs.
💡 Tips
- • Drag the mic button anywhere — it remembers its position.
- • Say "comma", "period", "question mark", "new paragraph" for punctuation.
- • Click the SpeakFlow AI icon in the toolbar to toggle grammar fixes.
🛠 Troubleshooting
- • Mic blocked? A tab opens with an "Allow microphone" button — click it.
- • No mic on Sheets/Excel? Click into the formula bar first.
- • Reinstall after updates: drag-replace the folder in chrome://extensions.
